Expekt was established in 1999 by Swedish entrepreneurs Christian Haupt and Conny Gesar. In 2009, it was bought by Mangas Gaming and is now a part of the Betclic Everest Group. Its main office is located in Irishtown, Gibraltar and employs about 150 people. Expekt is licensed by the Government of Gibraltar and is regulated by the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner.
